That there is only one God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who created all things, and who has revealed Himself to mankind.
That the God-given scriptures, comprised of sixty-six canonical books, commonly referred to as the Holy Bible, hold true infallible authority, and by them we can know and obey God.
That all of humanity, with the exception of Jesus the Christ, are sinners by nature and by choice. Sin is rebellion against God and His Commandments. Because of our sinfulness, we are separated from God and are bound to physical and spiritual death. This fate can only be remedied by receiving the perfect sacrifice of Christ by faith.
That Jesus, the Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, and the eternal Son of God became a Man, being born of a virgin, and lived a life as both fully man and fully God. He was tested and tempted in every way that we are, yet without sin, so that through His Death and Resurrection, we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
That the death of Jesus on the cross was the perfect payment for our sins because He was sinless and able to endure the wrath of God on our behalf. In dying, He took our punishment and conquered death itself. Therefore, He did not remain in the grave. He physically rose from the dead on the third day, revealed Himself to many, ascended into Heaven, and will one day return.
That God offers salvation to man as a gift received by faith. We cannot merit God's grace but He has chosen to freely bestow His grace upon all who call on Him through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
In the calling together of true believers to bring the gospel to all nations. These ordained local gatherings are referred to in scripture as 'churches', and they are sanctified by God, and designed to obey Christ's commands through: making disciples, Christian teaching and fellowship, and practicing the ordinances of the church, baptizing believers and remembering Christ's death by taking the Lord's Supper.
In a future physical resurrection of the dead. Those who trust in Jesus Christ will be raised to eternal life. These saints will enjoy a perfect and enduring relationship with God throughout ages. Those who have not trusted in Jesus Christ will be raised to eternal death and damnation.
That once a person has truly repented and received forgiveness by trusting in the finished work of Jesus, he/she will receive a new heart and will ultimately grow in godliness. While we do believe that a Christian can stumble, there will be clear evidence of God's Spirit within the believer.
It deserves to be studied, memorized, and meditated upon. When the believers gather, the conversation, worship, and preaching should drip with the word of God. We aim for it to govern our life and ministry and, further still, be the meditation and delight of our hearts.
We believe God has entrusted His church with the ministry of reconciling the lost to Himself. As ambassadors for Christ, we are comitted to proclaiming His gospel in our community and throughout the world.
Jesus told His disciples that the world would know them by their love for one another. True fellowship is one of the fruits of abundant love. We often linger after service to talk about our week, share food, pray for one another, and even play basketball/volleyball!
Families are already separated enough in our culture! Schools, jobs, technology; it seems like everything is fighting against the unity of the household. We believe that church should be different. When you come, you will notice that we encourage children to stay with their parents, and worship God together!
